Information we collect

• —Account details: your name and email address when you sign up, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password — it's one-way encrypted and can't be reversed, even by us).
• —Order and cart data: the products you add to your cart and purchase history, tied to your account.
• —Payment information: we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details directly — these are handled entirely by our payment processor, Razorpay, under their own security and privacy practices.
• —Google account info (name, email) if you choose to sign in with Google, per Google's own sharing permissions at sign-in.

How we use it

To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, send account-related emails (password resets, login verification codes, order confirmations), respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure — for example, detecting suspicious login activity.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run Toonscart:

• —MongoDB Atlas — hosts our database
• —Resend — delivers transactional emails (password resets, login codes)
• —Razorpay — processes payments
• —Google — if you use Google Sign-In

We don't sell your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in (this is required for the site to function — there's no way to use an account without it) and a small preference cookie for light/dark theme. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can review or update your name from your profile page at any time. To request a copy of your data, or to have your account deleted, contact us via the Contact page. Some order records may need to be retained for tax and accounting purposes even after a deletion request.

Children's privacy

Toonscart isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
